Tito is showing great business acumen by trying to get on of the most famous Japanese fighters to advertise his clothing line.
You're absolutely right.
but gomi has his own "rascal" gym t-shirts/hoodies...
why would he start wearing another fighter's line? especially a foreign fighter..ESPECIALLY as an established, if not -- famous --fighter.
you might see that in UFC with so many young fighters wearing older fighters brands as respect or for exposure...maybe money. i don't see gomi going that route.
Tito only has 1 fight on his UFC contract and he's gone after that. He's trying to make inroads by keeping good relations with fighters in other companies. In the past, he has visited Pride with gifts for fighters, so I imagine he's known for that sort of thing in Japan. He must have a sort of man-crush on Gomi-san.
a little gift here and there goes a long way.
