I fight on Apr 29. It's time for me to come back to the ring. I'm sure I will win.
In next few hours, he got many nasty comments. There are some comments supporting him, although, he never explained to his fans about his condition or anything. That's one of reasons he got many nasty comments by fans and anti Aoki fans. It would seem that he closed or moved his site without saying anything.

i feel bad for Aoki. I'll support in all the way, tho.
i feel some an explanation would have been a good move. i respect aoki a lot as a fighter and have always enjoyed his fights but he knew a lot of people were disappointed with that outcome and addressed his fans and that some felt he exaggerated the damage from the elbows. just letting things trail off as he did left the door open for criticism. anyhow, i'm still rooting for him in the rematch but i wonder whether this incident has rattled his confidence. HOPE NOT!
second try, with coherence this time:
i feel an explanation would have been a good move. i respect aoki a lot as a fighter and have always enjoyed his fights but he knew a lot of people were disappointed with that outcome. he should have made an effort to address his fans. I suspect he knew some felt he had exaggerated the damage from the elbows. a little media/fan damage control would have helped. just letting things trail off as he did left the door open for criticism. anyhow, i'm still rooting for him in the rematch but i wonder whether this incident has rattled his confidence. HOPE NOT!
I am a big Aoki fan for a while now and I was very disappointed in his fight with JZ. It reminded too much of his fight with George Sotiropoulos where he couldn't continue after a low blow. The whole situation has caused me to question Shinya and I hope he steps up and proves everyone wrong win or lose on March 29!
